In May of 1988, Jim Howard, a hard-working Canadian contractor from the Burlington area and our company’s founder, started his own local tower crane service. In 1996, Jim re-located his company’s head offices to Niagara-on-the-Lake, and Skycrane’s capabilities have since grown to encompass every service facet of the tower crane industry from project planning to equipment sales and rentals to erection, operation, and dismantling.
